Allie is a creative writer when she gets around to putting pen to paper amidst being a new mom to her son, Jackson and partner to her spouse, Ryan. She’s a little bit outdoorsy, and in her 30s she’s discovered the fun of birding and taking bird photos. In her free time, you’ll find her with a good cozy fantasy book, writing poetry, exploring local trails, trying to take photos of birds, playing video games, or enjoying one of her dozen crafty hobbies.
By day, she works in internal communications at a Big 4 consulting firm. She graduated from the University of Iowa with undergraduate degrees in English (specialization in Creative Writing) and Communication Studies, and with a Masters in Strategic Communications.
